Deep Tissue

Deep massage applies sustained pressured using slow, deep strokes to target the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissues using specialized therapies such as: trigger point, myofascial release and/or neuromuscular. This is not just deeper pressure. DT works out adhesions (knots) from stressed, overworked muscles & connective tissue (fascia) to alleviate immediate pain, as well as chronic joint and muscle pain allowing faster healing. Active Isolated Stretching

Performing an Active Isolated Stretch (Mattes AIS Technique) of no longer than two seconds allows the target muscles to optimally lengthen without triggering the protective stretch reflex and subsequent reciprocal antagonistic muscle contraction as the muscle achieves relaxation. AIS provides functional and physiological restoration of superficial and deep fascial planes. Done in workout clothing. AIS is beneficial for reducing pain stiffness, chronic musculoskeletal conditions, and limited range of motion.

Cupping 'Gliding', Body Massage

Primarily used on the back to clear stagnation, relieve inflammation and to move and drain fluids. Two malleable cups are used in a dynamic, gliding motion to create a vacuum suction to drain fluid toward lymph nodes. Muscles & connective tissue are stretched and due to time constraints, full body massage is not possible (30 minutes). This is restricted to predetermined areas of the body. On a deeper level, the effect on the nervous system is sedating. Blood supply is brought up to the skin to provide nourishment and clear toxins.

Cupping 'Static', Body Massage

A therapist lubricates area to be cupped, a vacuum suction is created, and multiple cups are parked in place 3-15 minutes. "Cupping marks/kisses" are not bruises but are indications that toxins and stagnation were pulled to surface of body, restoring flow of energy and healthy blood flow. The marks are temporary and fade within 3- 10 days. This is in combination with traditional full body massage. Includes wet Hot Towel on back and dry wrap on feet.

Facial 'Face Lift' Cupping - 1 treatment of series of 3

This treatment is designed to bring circulation to the skin and facial muscles, stimulate collagen and elastin production, smooth fine lines, release tight facial muscles and drain out stagnant lymph and toxins. The face will appear tighter and toned and the drainage system of the face and neck will function significantly better, after a short series of treatments and maintenance. It has been used to treat the discomfort of Temporal Mandibular Dysfunction. Great during cold and allergy seasons!

TMJ Disorder

Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders can cause pain in your jaw joint and in the muscles that control jaw movement and are extremely prevalent in our society. TMJ dysfunction is often a silent contributor in cases of headache, scoliosis and neck impingement. TMJ dysfunction can be a primary issue or the symptom of broader postural issues.
